==wikiFactor of Scholarpedia==
Dear JuanManuel, I have added the [http://arxiv.org/abs/0902.3439 wikiFactor] of Scholarpedia. It is fairly easy to calculate, being very similar to the
Hirsch ''h'' index (with a factor of 1000); looking at the [http://www.scholarpedia.org/wiki/index.php?title=Special:PopularPages&limit=100&offset=0 Popular pages] of Scholarpedia one can see that (at the moment) the 51st mos popular page has had 52,700 views (which is >51,000), whilst the 52nd most popular page has <52,000 views, thus the wikiFactor of Scholarpedia (again, at the moment) is 51. The people at [http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/WikiFactor RationalWiki] have made a rather good page explaining the wikiFactor. Hey Carl, thank you for the explanation. I will keep it in mind next time I add another Wiki. Best regards --[[User:JuanManuel]] |

wikiFactor of Scholarpedia[edit]
Dear JuanManuel, I have added the wikiFactor of Scholarpedia. It is fairly easy to calculate, being very similar to the Hirsch h index (with a factor of 1000); looking at the Popular pages of Scholarpedia one can see that (at the moment) the 51st mos popular page has had 52,700 views (which is >51,000), whilst the 52nd most popular page has <52,000 views, thus the wikiFactor of Scholarpedia (again, at the moment) is 51. The people at RationalWiki have made a rather good page explaining the wikiFactor. All the best -- Carl McBride (talk) 10:43, 10 February 2011 (CET)
