• $\Lambda$ is the de Broglie wavelength

• $\beta ={\frac {1}{k_{B}T}}$, with $k_{B}$ being the Boltzmann constant,

• $U$ is the potential energy, which depends on the coordinates of the particles (and on the interaction model)
