Pseudo hard sphere potential
The pseudo hard sphere potential (PHS) [1] is a piecewise continuous variant of the Mie potential, which is "cut-and-shifted" according to the Weeks-Chandler-Andersen recipe. The potential is given by (Eq. 9):
